The improvements consist of the installation of dynamic message signs (DMS), closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras, connections to existing traffic signal controller cabinets and fiber optic cable throughout the project limits of SR 55 (US 19). US 19 is an urban other principle arterial active on the state highway system in Pinellas County. The system will splice into existing fiber optic cables on US 19 to the north and to the south at 5th Avenue North. A connection will be made from 5th Avenue to the City of St. Petersburg Traffic Control Center at 1744 9th Avenue North through City-owned property.  

Original Construction Budget: $1,992,239.90

Final Construction Amount: $1,975.125.88

 

Original Contract Time: 260 days

Final Contract Time: 305 days                     

Allowable Days: 305 days (last day 9/3/2015)
